My name is Catherine Salamida, but you can call me Cat.
I’m a 22-year-old digital storyteller, artist and creator with a passion for bringing ideas to life through visual storytelling, design, and hands-on experimentation.
With a Bachelor's Degree in Public Communications, Journalism & Media, and Studio Art from the University of Vermont, I’m drawn to the intersection of media, culture, and design. Whether that is capturing the energy of a live show, developing a social media campaign, producing a video, or creating something entirely by hand.
So, what can you expect to find here?
Cattie's Club is a growing collection of my work, interests, and creative experiments. Explore event photography, styled photoshoots, film photography, audio and video production, social media content, marketing campaigns, graphic design, and original art. Some projects are professionally focused, others are personal explorations, and many fall somewhere in between. Together, they reflect my curiosity, creative perspective, and love of creating.
What I bring to the table
I’m at my best when I can combine creative ideation with hands-on execution. I love developing a concept, figuring out how to bring it to life, and seeing it through to the final product. Whether I’m behind a camera, editing footage, designing in Adobe Creative Cloud, or building something from scratch, I’m always looking for new ways to experiment, learn, and create work that feels thoughtful and original.
My experience spans content creation, event marketing and promotion, photography, videography, and digital design. I work across Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Audition, and Lightroom, alongside Canva, CapCut, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube.
Where I'm headed
I’m excited to continue exploring opportunities in creative media, content production, marketing, and the film and television industry. I’m particularly interested in projects that bring together visual storytelling, production, design, and collaboration. I love working with people who have big ideas, trying things I’ve never done before, and finding creative solutions along the way.
At my core, I’m a curious person who loves to make things, tell stories, and turn ideas into something tangible.
